Who is, in your opinion, "the coach for this team"?
Because as frustrated as I sometimes get with some of Sutter's decisions with respect to player usage, I've seen no evidence that so-called player's coaches like Ward and Gulutzan were the answer for this team. The most successful coaches in the Treliving era have been
- Hartley, whose systems are a mess, with allegations against his character
- Peters, who is a person of dubious-at-absolute-best character
- Sutter
When I think of available coaches, the ones that comes to mind are:
- Quennville, who is... a person of dubious-at-absolute-best character
- Babcock, with allegations against his character and less overall playoff success than Sutter
