I mentioned in this thread years back that Mrs. Puppet had started finding her birth parents. She found her dad in March 2020 through Ancestry, and through talking to him learned her birth-mother's name. Via some internet detective work she found her in the summer of 2020. Mrs. Puppet has been in regular communication with both of them since, and in a few hours she'll meet her birth mother for the first time (a planned visit in the spring got scrapped when we all got Covid). I'm expecting the next few days to be filled with all kinds of emotion, but it'll definitely be exciting.

As someone also adopted who found both sides of her birth family in the past few years - how did it go?
