New station South of Chinook potentially going ahead. I dont ever go there or ride the train past Chinook so not likely to affect me, but I'm uncertain about whether the value of infill stations outweighs slowing down the service for every other trip that goes past there and increasing the op costs of having the same frequency.

I’m alright with that. Developer pays the capital cost (though you’re right, the city will pay to operate it). But the proposal promises some great density and transit oriented development, which is what the city needs and wants. I think it is a win-win, even if adds a minute to someone’s commute from Somerset.
