WFH isn’t tech exclusive, it’s just one of the industries where it’s a viable option.
The increased “demand” for WFH is due to the pandemic where a huge number of people across multiple industries got a taste, and now business owners and managers are trying to put the genie back in the bottle.
A recession isn’t going to curb the demand for WFH, it’s going to make it stronger. Why would someone want to pay the extra money to go into an office? Why would someone want to keep a partially filled office as an expense?
