Not saying people will go way to the crazy right, but most people I know (myself included) have become somewhat more conservative as they get older.

Even the Democrats aren't some super left party; nor is our Canadian government.
A lot of young adults start far left and shift more to the centre/left or centre/right as they grow up.

I've gone the other way.
