Hmmm I wonder what made USA 94 and Germany 2006 such memorable and exciting tournaments....could it be because Italy made the finals in both tournaments? It can't be a coincidence....In all honesty, Germany 2006 was the best tournament in my lifetime, not just because Italy won, but there were also many memorable matches and storylines. I'm sorry, but there is just something more magical about Europe hosting the tournament. France 98 was also good, Italy 90 as well. The absolute worst ones were 2002 and 2010.
I'm highly expecting this years tournament to be a flop as well. Hoping for Qatar to be humiliated and embarrassed in all their matches. I also hope the world wakes up and sees just how corrupt FIFA and the country of Qatar really are. I hope they are exposed and that anyone travelling there can see the country for the ####show that it really is.
