Talk about a contrast of play in the 2 games so far between the Wild and Kings. The Kings won 1-0 in reg time, Vilardi scored the only goal with 6 minutes left in the 3rd period. Quick made 21 saves for the SHUTOUT and Fleury made 29 saves. The Wild's PK was perfect at 4/4. Last month's game had all the offense with 13 goals.

The Jets scored 4 goals in the 2nd period and flew on to a 5-1 win over the Stars. Coach Bowness must have enjoyed the game as he was going against his former team. Appleton with 3 points and Scheifele had a pair of goals.

The Islanders with a great comeback in the 3rd period against their arch rivals at MSG. The Isles scored 3 goals to win 4-3 in reg time. A Rangers fan won a new vehicle when he shot the puck into the mini hole during the intermission.
