I like your first paragraph and would include skates too and getting kicked.
I would say though that your second paragraph is a list of penalties and possibly suspensions depending upon the wheel of justice. You can just as easily cause life changing damage from a so called hockey play especially with intent.
I just don’t know why the nhlpa doesn’t push the league more to protect all players, not just the Mavi right of way.
