This will be your normal mid-term result. The party in power always takes a kicking in the mid-terms, so the Dems are going to have a rough night. It's part of the cycle and nothing to get all worked up over. It's predictable as a Yoho troll job.

Republicans will have a small majority in both the House and Senate, which means they are responsible for governance for the rest of Biden's term. They will not be able to go into the 2024 election pointing fingers at the Democrats for non-performance, because it will be on the Republicans to actually put forth solutions to problems and govern. No excuses now. Let's see how good the Republicans are at fixing problems their policies established while Trump was in the White House. Obstruction will be off the table, so that will be a good thing. We get to see what ideas other than tax cuts for the rich the Republican party can put forward.
