And IF she had been saying "The way for people to deal with inflation is to cut Disney+" maybe I could see the point. But that isn't what she said, she didn't even say people need to cut anything. She only noted that households (mothers and wives) are looking at their costs and then gave a personal anecdote about how she is in the same boat of looking at all costs. In her circumstance Disney+ was not required so they cut it. In no way did she say that Canadians should be doing the same. This is only how social media is framing it for people to try and use it as ammunition.
This is a far cry from saying the way to deal with high gas prices is to buy an electric car, or if heating bills are too high you should put on a sweater.
