... You guys are joking, right? Kadri has a long history of hurting his team by getting suspended at the worst possible time in the playoffs. This past season was basically the first time he has ever NOT done that. It's one of the main reasons the Leafs felt they had to move on from him.

I'm not saying he's going to do it again now that he's with the Flames, it may have finally sunk in that he's just hurting his team... But saying "well here's a player with a history of playing on the edge at the right time, and in a way that is productive and not a distraction for his team in the playoffs" is absolutely hilarious when applied to Kadri.



Man, right on for both points. I find a lot here will say anything as fans to cover the Flames or Flames players butts. Kadri took ages to mature and it only happened this past season, so the jury is completely out on him. Tkachuk was a dirty player with the Flames but was never called out by fans as such. He loves the attention and is just a trashy guy. I really wish he was in a more hardnose division where someone would give him a fist, but it looks like he'll continue being dumb there.
