One strike? Have you paid attention to the story? This was years of physical and mental abuse and even after the urinal incident Miller followed that up with intimidation. Literally psychotic behavior.

No one is saying he should be in jail today for what he did when he was a kid but people are saying he shouldn’t get the privilege of playing in a league where less than 1% of people who play the game get to play. A league where you are expected to be a role model and have earning potential in the millions of dollars per year. The despicable choices made by a young man who should know better have removed that opportunity for Miller. When you are 14 you know the difference between right and wrong.

Again no one is saying he can’t get another job and live his life. I am sure the KHL will give him a shot. The NHL should not and I am glad the Bruins have cut ties with him. This is a great example for parents to use when telling their kids mistakes you make when you are younger can be with you into adulthood. Hopefully these hard lessons help Miller truthfully change and not just provide the lip service it appears he has been doing to this point.
