Just got back from seeing it at NAIT. At first I was upset about missing the last two periods of game 1 for it, but after seeing how the game turned out, it seemed to be a blessing in disguise...but Ill save that for another forum on this MB. Took about an hour of waiting in a massive "S" shaped line before we finally got in the door. And like someone earlier in this thread said, it started at 8, despite the tickets saying 7. I see they're as organized down in Calgary as they are up here...

Thought the show was decent. Had terrible seats, so unfortunately I couldnt get any good pics, but it was still a good time. He basically just talked about his life, and how he came to be who he is. Was surprised to see Beth with him(who's watching their six kids??), I figured he'd be riding solo. All-in-all it was decent. I know he's really religious, so I thought it was going to be alot of preaching, and certainly the first 10 minutes started out that way. I was starting to think I'd be leaving early. But then he settled down into his story, and his energy and humour(plus his heartfelt, corny Dogisms that belong on an episode of Full House) kept it enjoyable.

I laugh at Dog and his family for their stereotypical right-wing, redneck American mentality(they have a framed photo of George W. Bush on their desk for Gods sake!!) and the way they look, but at the same time I really respect him, and like the show. I get a real kick out of it, it's quite amusing and fun to watch. I have to admit that I'm absolutely hooked on it.
