Many more variables to consider when trying to determining if its a good thing or bad. Its not black and white like you make it out to be.

yeah home doesn't always imply more winable games by default . everything is situational, home or away
toward the end of a lengthy homestand like this over a month with breaks interwoven? you aren't rooming together and bonding and you have home distractions competing with hockey especially with the multi day breaks .. it's just not an ideal situation for any team trying to stay fresh and focused .. seems like a fertile situation for complacency
getting on the road will help focus the group I think
