Kinda think something like this is true. Oilers identified a serious and real weakness in Markstrom (mid glove side shots) and other teams are using it nightly. Add in the man-cover defense and slow transition game and ... yeah the Flames are getting worked in the last few games.
I think the Kadri line is how Darryl would like the fowards to play, but he's only got 3 guys capable of it. Toffoli's worked his ass off, I think, but he's still not fast enough to be much of a danger in the modern game as a skater... as a pure shooter, maybe.
Team just looks absolutely lost out there in both ends.
