Yes, and Saprykin kept getting sent back to the AHL time and again – until Sutter coached him, and then he did
not get sent back. The same with the others on my list.
I notice, by the way, you don't mention Phaneuf at all. That's a rather significant case, don't you think?
The question was about young players becoming NHL regulars under Sutter. In every case I mentioned, the player was promoted from the AHL to the NHL under Sutter and was a permanent NHL roster player thereafter.

If a player has been up and down between the AHL and NHL, and Sutter makes him a permanent NHL roster player, wouldn't you say that counts?
