I'm younger than Tegan and Sarah too, but I spent a lot of time at that A&B. It's funny how downtown Calgary felt so urban to me as a kid and it felt so grown up to be down there on my own or meeting friends at the A&B. It definitely had a sort of majestic and authoritative vibe inside, like it was the center of music culture, or like a church of music culture. At least that's how it felt to me at that time. It wasn't my favourite record store (my favourite was the one in Kensington that I can't remember the name of anymore), but it did have a unique experience.
