Well for starters, that some of the people that the Government said they paid have come forward and said they had nothing to do with it nor received any money.
So....where did the money really go?
I know that fiscal prudence in our lifetimes is essentially dead but that doesnt necessarily mean that we should just blindly allow the Government, any Government, to go around just openly stealing.
ArriveCan aside, this Liberal Government has to be the most fiscally opaque Government this country has ever seen. Money seems to go missing rather frequently.
And frankly, you're right. $54M is a small burger at the cafeteria, so why bother taking it? Maybe because its the tip of the iceberg?
Poilievre being an idiot aside, a little bit of financial transparency isnt a bad thing and for the Opposition to ask the Government 'Where did the money go?' shouldnt be unreasonable nor generate such a vitriolic reaction even from someone as blatantly partisan as some posters.
- Government spent money
- People alleged to have received it deny it
- Opposition asks where did the money go?
- Posters: Milhouse is a MORON! Who cares where the money went.
Brilliant stuff.
