Hey everybody,

I can't say enough how amazing it's been to be a member of this league for so many years. I've been blessed to have it as part of my life and it's helped me immeasurably with being able to closely follow prospects, get a better grasp on player evaluations, and gain some new friends.

I'm finding myself increasingly out on the road these days with work and it's just no longer feasible for me to continue as Islanders GM. These six years have been great and I'll never forget the Cinderella run to the finals, but I'm just not in a position right now where I can dedicate ample time to making this team better.

Thankfully, we're not in a position where we owe a bunch of firsts and seconds (anymore!) so I think a new GM will be able to put their stamp on this team pretty quickly. I'm still always available for advice from GMs on potential trades and just to chat — just drop me a PM.

Wild to think that I was 15 and in high school when I joined this league ... it really has been an amazing experience. Thanks to Jiri, Cheese, and everyone else for giving me this place where I could be myself and have a great time.
