Does it matter? He's not earning much with bad reads and perimeter play that is generating nill lately.
I've been willing to give him the benefit of the doubt moving to a new team and conference, but we are nearly 10 games into the season with ample practice time and a training camp under his belt. The system should be sinking in and he should be making a positive impact on the scoreboard.
The Flames aren't going to win a lot of games if their best scoring forward isn't scoring. I'm sure this more normal schedule is going to help the whole team now, but the last thing you want is to have this snowball into a lengthy skid.
