So when I was in my teens I was at Slushcup @ Millennium Park.
Swollen Members on stage, huge pit of people pushing and I was caught in the middle with some friends.
Huge part ended up collapsing, unfortunately I was stuck and slowly the pile was getting bigger and bigger. I was near the bottom with about half a dozen people stacked on top of me and I couldn't move an inch, couldn't breathe (well) and couldn't scream.
Few minutes go by and a buddy was able to pull me out enough to catch my breath, and eventually got me out.
Fraction of what these people experienced, but that was enough for me to never venture into a huge crowd that packed together with people, its awful.
