I don't really see that as baggage and I don't think that a "rebranding" would be of much benefit. New leadership, focus and public presence would be a huge benefit though. The NDP managed to pull off a victory and turn things around after dozens of years of irrelevance so why can't the Alberta Party do the same under the right conditions?
