I remember Patrick Poulin trying to end Al MacInnis’s career on an icing call, where Al was tripped, wishboned his legs into the boards and dislocated his hip.
Think about that for a second. A dislocated HIP.
So eff Patrick Poulin.

Scary moment: Calgary defenseman Al MacInnis thought his hockey career was over while in an emergency room in Hartford, Conn., last week.
"I tried not to look down, but it got the best of me," he told the Associated Press. "When I looked down, it (left hip) was twisted pretty good.
"It was the scariest moment. I didn't think I'd get a chance to play again. I was wondering if I'd walk again. When I woke up after surgery and saw it straightened out, I felt better."
The injury occurred when MacInnis was jabbed from behind by Whalers rookie Patrick Poulin. MacInnis went crashing into the boards. The Flames sent a tape of the incident to the NHL.
