She doesn't care about the arena in any way. It's no mystery why she's jumping on now, it's clear that the deal is going to get done, easy points for her to start saying this now and she can turn and tell everyone how she helped get it going, and dum dums are going to fall for it.
An arena for 4 years of Smith is not a trade I'd make because she has no say, input or influence on this project.

The province didn't give any money to Edmonton I don't believe. They have nothing to do with any of this and neither does Smith.
