I'm not sure I completely agree, there will be and still are some that don't like tattoos.
I mean obviously a Swastika is a no go, but I feel that there will always be a segment of society that view tattoos in a negative way.
I nearly got me blood type tattooed on my forearms and a regimental tattoo on my hand, at 50 I'm glad I didn't do the blood types, but the regimental tattoo would have been a cool keepsake.
