It seems common in these better serial type shows for the penultimate episode to be the more explosive episode with the finale being more a denouement and set up for the next season. It works for me. It's time to move past the over the top finales of old network TV.
Question about Daemon. What was his dragon scene about and did it have something to do with Aemond's dragon attacking? And how did Deamon know the kid was killed? It seems to make sense that Deamon would set that up so Rhaenyra goes to war, but not sure the logistics of what happened there?
