After discussing social studies with the teenager and her friends, I'm not convinced that the 16-17 year old voting block is much different than any other voting block.

They all seemed to care about whatever their parents teach them to care about. Jobs, taxes, climate, whatever.

The one difference I noticed is that they care way more about education and LGBTQ issues than the adults do.
