Completely unsurprising, part of terms Bontis negotiated with the CSB to give up control of the national governing body to the for profit third party.
Top player is YTBD, but reading that link, the kid played in the U13 Concacf Club Cup. Didn't know such a thing existed at that age.
Do all club teams in Canada have chance to represent Canada (haha I'm here all week, try the veal) or is it a highly polticial rep only team where your address has to be in the GTA and you have to be highly connected?
Anyways, Cavalry have 11 Forge players, 3 officials, the the CSB and by proxy the CSA, and Wheeler and Dunfield, to defeat today. Forge not being in a league final will be a disaster for the CSB who is basically the Forge and CPL ownership, and we will see playoff structure changes next year again.
