Don't pay that much attention to things in Vancouver and yes noticed the multiple game blown leads, but last night it's 3-1 with 5 minutes left, and then an EN and a goal against in garbage time. Buffalo is a good team, they beat us fair and square.
Sounds like a (unsurprising) overreaction from fans, though some internal issues, likely starting with the owner and filtering on down from there, is going on concurrently.
The Miller signing timing was odd in the offseason. My guess is maybe the president made that call and overruled the coach and president (who is basically also the GM) about signing the player to that contract. Now Miller, who also maybe wasn't keen on being there going forward, but then saw that his market value wasn't what he thought it was in the offseason, and then the Canucks threw bag of money at him long term, was never enegerized about being there and
is again realizing he doesn't want to be there now, let alone for another 7 years.
