Coilers Stink

After the loss to Edm I no longer believe they are Cup hopefuls.

Forget rioting, win or go f*** yourselves.

This will be an interesting game to watch as far as adjustments are concerned. The issue that I believe that the Canes had against Edmonton was that they fell into the trap of playing the Oilers' style of hockey, rather than dictating their own terms. Because the Canes lack true mega-superstars like Matthews or McDrai in their forward group, this IMO is not a team that does all that well in high-scoring/low-defense contests. Will the Canes go back to their game against the Flames?

Honestly wondering what Sutter is telling the other team... he is a real good coach and fully capable of turning his crew going into the next period... went into this expecting the coaching to be a real factor and likely a difference maker especially if score stays tight

A big hole I have seen in our PP is relying on entries on the wing with Jarvis. He tries to push it forward quick, gets smushed, and the other team easily picks the puck up behind the net.

WTF was Burns on the ice for. He was horrible tonight. He basically turns the puck over to Clagary, then tries to skate into the offensive zone to get it back, then his slow ass cant get back and makes it easy.

Look, Burns, right now, is not driving offense. He is a detriment on the PP because he is too slow to bring the puck up, so the defense ignores him and plays the other speed guys.

Another night where our goaltenders eff up and give away goals. Then you have 4 minutes of PP and it looks like you have never seen a puck before. Then roll Burns out there in OT to turn the puck over.

These refs really coddling the flames right now.

Shows a clip of a blatant interference by Zadorov, a holding the stick by Mangiapane and then Mangiapane draws a penalty after looking like he got smoked in the numbers from a slight shove.

It's pretty easy to win games when the powerplay ratio is 4:1 in your favor.
