Something I've wondered about in the past: is there a point where a goalie gets too used to AHL quality shots and can no longer adjust fast enough to NHL shots?
Like it seems to me, if you come up from the A and blown out in a couple games, you're probably not going to get many more chances. It has to be pretty tough for a guy left down in the A for three seasons to suddenly come up and start making saves on McDavid/Crosby/Ovechkin/etc?
