You’re right, say what you mean and mean what you say.
I do believe she should be allowed an opinion on the territory without supporting invasion. She could have apologized for some of it I guess and explained why her opinions on some of it had changed and why she felt that way at that time and why and how she feels now right or wrong. Don’t just apologize to try and get political points.
