The thing is, the shortage of good RWs is league-wide. It's the literal mirror image of the 1980s, when the Flames won the Cup with Colin Patterson at LW on the first line, and the Oilers won it twice before they brought in Esa Tikkanen and put him on Gretzky's left. I still remember games when they had Dave Semenko in that spot.
If your biggest weakness is also the weakness of most other contenders, that's not really something to worry about.
