I think if the Flames want any hope of not completely bottoming out in a few years they need to hold onto some picks and hit on those picks. Pelletier, Zary, Coronato hopefully are all players. Wolf and Poirier hitting would be amazing. If the pick is on the table it would have to be for a long term piece coming back.
