They should probably just have a dedicated Family section, so you can have both but have the option to be a bit separated. While I understand that some people go to games to party, as a parent there's nothing I hate more than taking my kid to a game and being surrounded by drunken buffoons.
Once upon a time I worked on a marketing project in University with the Flames/Hitmen when Hitmen attendance was struggling.

And the research was that was a big part of it - students didn't want to go drink and be rowdy because it felt weird with families kids around, and vice versa where families didn't want to go because they didn't want to sit with the crazies yelling and swearing.

Dedicated student sections and dedicated family sections was the proposal (complete with bus transportation from UofC, Mount Royal, and Sait for the students tickets)

I know they tried it for a couple years but not sure if it ever went anywhere beyond that.
