Finally an intelligent post.
Keep in mind the jury award was about twice what the Plaintiff was asking for in final argument.
But the problem is, its just people (in this case the jury) piling on to "send a message". The trial was not about sending a message, it was about righting a wrong.
The jury gets mad, and doubles the damage request.
Its silly.
