I agree with others here, you don't need people who played hockey running organizations, you need people who have education and experience running organizations as administrators running these kinds of establishments. Someone who doesn't have affiliations with the "higher ups" of hockey in Canada.
Hockey Canada can always bring in the "experts" of hockey in to support, but administrators should be experts at administrating, not hockey players becoming administrators without any education, especially at this high of a level.
