Well, you can disagree, but I've been a partner at two largish law firms and know plenty more at others, including ones a lot bigger than Aird.
Thing is as well, she didn't "behave" in any particular manner until the fateful interview where she totally stepped in it. I'm sure she was named interim president out of a cynical "we'll name our woman board member to signal we're serious".
Anyway, there's not a whole lot they can do. Ousting a partner at a law firm is incredibly difficult absent criminal behaviour. Usually they are coerced into resigning. No doubt they had a hand in her resignation from HC, though.
