He didn't say no. That's my point. There's a limited number of news sources that had screeds about Trudeau saying "no" to Germany. He didn't say that. Here's what he said:
"He said the priority is on immediate solutions and existing infrastructure. “Right now our best capacity is to continue to contribute to the global market to displace gas and energy that then Germany and Europe can locate from other sources,” Trudeau said"
That is, send the gas West to Kitimat. The federal government doesn't decide who buys the gas, but it would be more expensive for Germany to buy from the west than other sources
