Yeah, this one is a downer. The only upside is I'm 99% sure I wasn't going to agree with whatever charity they would have picked to direct half my money.
Anybody read this article about the
Calgary connection to Rage?
That Ronnie guy in the article was my kids' guitar teacher for two years. He's super rad and talked to me about working with Alice in Chains, but I didn't know he worked with Rage. He also gave my son a nickname that we still call him by hah.
The other thing I remember about him was what he said about my kids' guitar playing: "they should be getting better; how is it that they're worse every time I see them?" It was absolutely true, too. They got a little bit good, then progressively worse until the whole thing just kind of petered out through no fault of the guitar teacher.
