Still going with over torqued. Seems to be extremely common with home change overs as many people don't actually use a torque wrench and when they do they don't adjust it properly/ don't get those clicks mean something lol.
That's my thought too. I use a torque wrench but the vehicle was 15+ years old when we got it so who knows the history. Of course it's possible I'm one of those idiots you describe who don't use a torque wrench properly but I'm pretty sure I do, and it's only happening on one vehicle.
