Under the 2013 CBA, the fee ranged from about $3,000 for a veteran who's been under NHL contract for more than 9 years, up to $90,000 for a goalie with less than two years under contract. I haven't got the current MOU handy, so I don't know if those numbers have been adjusted.

Basically, it's chump change compared to the salary of any player being claimed.
