Went down the rabbit hole and got some more insight on the fishing scandal. The news is blowing up in the fishing world and for good reason

- The cheaters, Jake Runyan and Chase Cominsky, have been winning major competitions since 2016 with notable recent prizes including boats and $300,000. They also have various sponsorship deals

- The video only shows Jake Runyan frozen in his place as everyone around him was screaming at him. His teammate, Chase Cominsky, was nowhere to be seen as he likely had ran off when the competition organizer started to inspect their fish

- Their "winning" fish totalled a combined weight of 33 lbs. 8 lbs of it, were lead/other fish weights. Second place had 16 lbs of fish

- Their peers had suspected the pair had been cheating for sometime. Often citing that their fish didnt look like the weight it was officially weighed in at in previous competitions. It looked marginally bigger than the runner up's fish. This was the first time an organizer had inspected and cut up their fish

- The pair had recently been disqualified at a major competition earlier this year for failing a polygraph test. They had hired a lawyer to sue the organisers however that might change with this current turn of events
