He's been fine, but not outstanding.
He's turning 24 and is on the cusp.. With Kylington out, the flames have to strongly consider inserting him into the line-up to start the regular season. Even if it's just to showcase him prior to a trade. I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up playing a couple games with Tanev.
