It helped that the Wheaties quit at 4-1. Brandon had a great first period, then Plante gave up just a horrible short handed goal to McMillan - who was on his back and just shoveled it towards the goal. Two PPGs later, and the Wheat Kings were on the ropes. The 4th goal early in the third did them in, and it was a romp after that.
I would expect Brandon to come out a little stronger after that.
Incidentally, any chance we can get this thread renamed?
