Funny the difference in perspectives.
I thought Ruzicka was patient with the puck and was able to slow things down.
Phillips was determined, for being smaller player he always goes for the puck, even stood in front of the net and close to banging on a rebound.
Pelletier has a motor, he's got good tools, just doesn't think efficiently yet. I think he could use a mentor so he plays with more confidence.
Valimaki was up and down but I think he is moving a lot better. He has better puck skills than Mackey.
Mackey is a true stay at home d man. He's solid, just don't think he's got good offensive acumen which is okay since we have a few guys that do.
Zary says he models his game to Bo Horvat and I agree, I think he's the best young guy we have. He's still raw but you can see he's got great IQ and moves a lot better than I thought. Interested to see how he does with better players.
Milano seemed to be holding the stick tight, that or he's just not good as his stats. Watching him I'm actually shocked he's a first round pick. I'll be surprised if we give him a contract.
Eakins is a typical 4th line player. Because of his speed and aggression I would take him over Rooney.
