Re: Air purifiers; stock up on the filters when they're in stock and a good price if you can. I bought an expensive Philips air purifier a few years ago and then even though they still sold the unit for a while and a similar model now, they have discontinued sale of the filters. Really ridiculous to not continue to provide filters for units that aren't even that old.
Couldn't even find replacement knock offs anywhere online for a long time and when I finally did it was super expensive.
