But the Fox comparison is odd. He played 0 games for the Flames. Johnny gave the organization over 600 games.
And for what its worth I don't actually have much issue with what Fox did. He used the leverage that was available to him - and it worked. Pro athletes have little leverage in the early part of their careers, so when they choose to use what they have, I have a hard time blaming them.
That being said I would boo the chump because it's fun.

I would rather have 10 out of 10 players pull the Johnny bs than a player who is drafted pull what fox pulled.
The NHL should enact a rule that says any player drafted, has to play for that team for their entry level contract, then are free to ask for a trade.
Not a fan of that kind of crap.
On a side note, Not sad both JG, and MT are no longer with the organization.
