Sorry Burninator, I did in fact read your lenghty post! (And I thought it was quite well written!). I guess the way that I took his story in particular was that he had begun to think more positively and see things that he would not have otherwise taken notice of before; basically he opened his mind up to the possibilities that were already there.
I agree that while I will try to think more positive about things, if I get cancer tomorrow I will be lining up for the chemo and such to beat it! I guess my thoughts after watching this movie were basically what bad could come from my trying this out?
