New comprehensive literature (an umbrella review, basically a systematic review of a collection of systematic reviews) has come out in recent months that indicates that serotonin (or lack thereof) is not associated with depression.

If this is true, that means that most anti-depressants aren't doing what they're intended to do. Medication may not be the answer either.
